Description

  • During the Taisho period, mansions were built that took advantage of the shape of the land, with a Western-style building on the high ground, a Western-style garden on the slope, and a Japanese garden on the low ground.
  • Very few valuable buildings from that time remain today, and have been designated as national scenic spots.
  • It is also famous for its roses.
