[053]Yanaka Ginza Shopping Street (Yanaka Ginza Shoten-gai)

Description

  • While many shopping streets have declined, this is one that is still thriving.
  • The view from the top of the long stairs at the entrance of the shopping street is said to be beautiful.

Reviews by situation

“Relaxing alone” Recommendation score: 6 /10

Yanaka Ginza Shopping Street is one of the most famous shopping streets in Tokyo, but as a result of its development as a tourist destination, it has become a relatively empty street. The view from the top of the stairs, which is its symbol, is still beautiful.

“Kids will love it” Recommendation score: 3 /10

There are cafes and sweets shops that children will enjoy, but there seems to be little reason to go to Yanaka Ginza.

“As a date” Recommendation score: 2 /10

If you’re hoping for a food-hopping date, we recommend comparing it with other spots before visiting.

“Fun with friends” Recommendation score: 3 /10

If you’re hoping for food-hopping and shopping, we recommend comparing it with other spots before visiting.
