Reviews by situation

“Relaxing alone” Recommendation score: 8 /10

Akihabara Electric Town is currently bustling with tourists from overseas, but it is actually a place where people usually come alone to shop. However, there are a lot of touts in some areas, so we recommend doing some research on the area beforehand.

“Kids will love it” Recommendation score: 5 /10

Children will also enjoy the game centers and gashapon machines.

“As a date” Recommendation score: 5 /10

Some couples visit for dates, but there are fewer things you can only do in Akihabara.

“Fun with friends” Recommendation score: 5 /10

For example, if you have never been to Akihabara before, we recommend that you go there together.

Access

The Denkigai exit of Akihabara Station (JR Yamanote Line / JR Keihin Tohoku Line / JR Sobu Line) is the most famous, and the area in front of the station is also crowded. But the closest station is Suehirocho Station (Metro Ginza Line). It has few passengers and is comfortable.
